VSB, one of Germany’s leading developers of wind energy and photovoltaics, has once again been recognised as a Great Place To Work®. VSB locations in France, Poland, and Finland have also been awarded this prestigious certification.

VSB Germany has received approval from the lower immission control authority of the district of Wittenberg (Saxony-Anhalt) for the construction of two additional wind turbines as part of the Elster Repowering wind farm project.

The project developer for wind energy, photovoltaics, and battery storage, VSB, has commenced construction work on another wind farm in North Rhine-Westphalia. In the northeast of the Lippe district, two wind turbines will be erected and brought into operation by autumn 2025.

VSB Service GmbH, a leading technical operations manager for wind and photovoltaic systems with its own control centre, proudly announces its successful certification under the internationally recognised DIN EN ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard and its passing of the KRITIS audit in accordance with § 8a of the Federal Office for Information Security Act (BSIG).

VSB Germany and the Bitterfeld-Wolfen Municipal Utilities (Stadtwerke Bitterfeld-Wolfen) have signed a contract to realise a photovoltaic project with an installed capacity of 19.3 MWp, along with an option for the municipal utilities to purchase the plant. The solar facility will be built on approximately 16 hectares within the urban area of Bitterfeld-Wolfen and is a key component of the region’s energy transition.
