Experienced and networked – VSB in eastern Germany

Putting the Energy Transition into Action - with Experience and Expertise

The roots and the headquarter of VSB group can be found in Dresden, Saxony: Here, we implemented our first wind park more than 20 years ago, and this is also the place where we will keep shaping the Energy Transition in the time to come – in harmony with the environment and the local people.

To date, we could launch 66 wind turbines in Saxony, which sum up to an installed power of 100 MW. Thus, about 70,000 households  can be supplied with electricity from natural sources.

Together for a Green Future: Our Partners

Together with our partners we take active part in implementing the Energy Transition in Saxony. Cooperation, exchange of experience, and knowledge transfer are the key factors for an environmentally friendly future. Take a look at our network of partner:

  • Bundesverband WindEnergie e.V., Regionalverband Sachsen
  • Vereinigung zur Förderung der Nutzung Erneuerbarer Energien e.V. (VEE Sachsen)
  • Klimaschutz Sachsen e.V.
  • Energieallianz Deutschland
  • BDEW Bundesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft e.V., Landesgruppe Mitteldeutschland

Saxony - Land of Innovation

Saxony looks back on a long tradition of innovative energy technologies. Today, the region shows favorable conditions for using wind energy. Furthermore, the Saxon government is determined to take advantage of the chances that go along with the Energy Transition: Not only does the regional generation of green energy aid to protecting the climate, but it also increases the local value added. Thus, in connection with electronic mobility and storage technologies in particular, employment is secured on a long-term basis.
