VSB Germany has received approval from the lower immission control authority of the district of Wittenberg (Saxony-Anhalt) for the construction of two additional wind turbines as part of the Elster Repowering wind farm project.

The project developer for wind energy, photovoltaics, and battery storage, VSB, has commenced construction work on another wind farm in North Rhine-Westphalia. In the northeast of the Lippe district, two wind turbines will be erected and brought into operation by autumn 2025.

VSB Germany and the Bitterfeld-Wolfen Municipal Utilities (Stadtwerke Bitterfeld-Wolfen) have signed a contract to realise a photovoltaic project with an installed capacity of 19.3 MWp, along with an option for the municipal utilities to purchase the plant. The solar facility will be built on approximately 16 hectares within the urban area of Bitterfeld-Wolfen and is a key component of the region’s energy transition.

VSB Group, one of Europe’s leading developers and operators of wind and solar farms, announces the signing of five long-term electricity supply contracts between its national company VSB France and Carrefour.

TAURON, the second largest energy supplier in Poland, and VSB, the international project developer for wind energy, photovoltaics and battery storage, have announced their cooperation: TAURON is acquiring the project rights for Miejska Górka, a 190.8 MW wind farm, from VSB Group.
