Thomas Winkler new Managing Director of VSB Neue Energien Deutschland GmbH

Developer of renewable energy projects has new senior management: Effective immediately, Thomas Winkler will take over the management of VSB Neue Energien Deutschland GmbH. As an experienced manager, he is responsible for the future growth of the German company.
Thomas Winkler brings extensive management experience to his new role, building on his many years of experience in the wind sector. The 36-year-old has been with VSB for 11 years, most recently acting as head of Corporate Transaction and responsible for negotiating and structuring the first PPA in Europe between the wind and automotive sectors with Daimler. Before that, he worked as branch manager for VSB in Romania and as head of sales and financing. Thomas Winkler studied at the TU Dresden and holds a degree in economics.

Thomas Winkler is taking over as Managing Director from Dr. Uwe Kaltenborn, who is leaving the VSB at his own request to devote himself to new undertakings. At this point, we would like to thank Dr. Uwe Kaltenborn for his dedicated and successful work.
