The Bundestag election is a climate election - politicians visit VSB

At the top of the wind turbine: Good discussions about climate policy and renewable energies with guests from the EU Parliament and Saxon state politics.

The Bundestag election 2021 is just around the corner. On 26th September, voters will decide on the future of climate protection in Germany and many other issues. from the point of view of the economic sectors the next legislative period is decisive if Germany will comply with the Paris Climate Agreement.

Last [Datum], as a part of their “Climate tour”, Politicians from Bündnis 90/Die Grünen took the opportunity to experience directly part of the solution. In a wind farm built by VSB in the district of Meißen, we talked about energy policy and wind energy at lofty heights of 100 meters. With our guests, Michael Bloss and Anna Cavazzini (Members of the European Parliament) as well as Kassem Taher Saleh, Annett Jagiela and Marie Müser (candidates for the Bundestag of the Greens in Saxony), we discussed about the challenges for renewable energies in Saxony, Germany and Europe.

Corresponding to the motto "Politics meets practice", we felt very happy pleasant about the visit and the opportunity to give an insight into our work of wind energy. An exciting day with good conversations and great views at lofty heights.
