Swiss investment manager continues to invest in Germany’s green energy supply

The newly built Weißandt-Gölzau wind farm has been smoothly feeding in green energy since December 2016. Now, the turbines, which have an installed capacity of 9.9 MW, have been acquired by Susi Partner, thus becoming part of the SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II. The wind farm is situated in Saxony-Anhalt in the district (Landkreis) of Anhalt-Bitterfeld. After four years of intense planning, wind energy expert VSB started constructing the Vestas V126-turbines in mid-2016. The wind farm provides green energy for about 19.000 people.

With the latest deal, VSB and Susi Partners can look back on four successful co-operations. In 2016, the Swiss company bought the 15 MW Drosay wind farm in France. The French wind farms Lazenay (16.8 MW) and Soulvache (8.0 MW) have been part of SUSI’s portfolio since 2015.

Investment manager SUSI Partners specializes in the financing of renewable energy infrastructure, storage systems and energy efficiency solutions. The company consults institutional investors who plan to invest in wind and solar farms all over Europe.
