In October 2011, VSB commissioned windpark Gahlen south of the city of Lübbenau. With an installed capacity of 7.5 MW and a hub height of 100 m, three Nordex N100 produce environmentally friendly energy for an average of about 6,500 households. The green electricity is fed into the medium-voltage power grid via the Calau transformer station.
