WindEnergy Hamburg / September 24-27, 2024

Termine  / Hamburg / 24.09.2024

The leading German trade fair for the onshore and offshore wind industry celebrates its 10th anniversary

The wind sector is in high spirits as the European Union installed a record amount of 16.2 GW of new wind energy capacity in 2023. 79% of this was onshore wind, and more than 1 GW came from repowering old facilities – as reported by WindEurope. In Germany, wind energy has also expanded its position as the most important energy source in the electricity mix. For the first time, wind turbines generated more electricity in 2023 than lignite and hard coal power plants combined. Additionally, investments in renewable energy facilities increased strongly in 2023, reaching €36.6 billion according to the Federal Environment Agency.

These are more than positive signs for one of the largest international industrial fairs for wind energy and a welcome opportunity for the VSB Group to discuss numerous exciting wind and solar projects from Finland, France, Germany, Poland, and Italy. With a pipeline of over 15 GW, we have a lot planned. We cordially invite you to meet us from September 24 to 27, 2024, at the Hamburg fairground in Hall A1, Stand 230.
