Continuity in Times of Change: VSB Group Once Again Among the Best Employers in the Manufacturing & Industry Sector in 2026

VSB Group, a leading European project developer for wind energy, photovoltaics, battery storage, and e-charging infrastructure, has once again been recognized by Great Place to Work® as one of the best employers in the “Manufacturing & Industry 2026” category.

Achieving 5th place among companies with 50 to 500 employees, VSB Group secured another top ranking in a highly competitive environment, reaffirming its consistently high employer quality. The certified entities include VSB Holding GmbH, VSB Neue Energien Deutschland GmbH, VSB Service GmbH, and VSB Integrated Energy Solutions GmbH.

This result is particularly noteworthy against the backdrop of the current transformation phase: since its acquisition by TotalEnergies in April 2025, VSB Group has been undergoing a comprehensive change process that opens up new opportunities while also presenting typical business challenges.

In this context, the expert team at Great Place to Work® considers the overall results within VSB Group to be especially remarkable. They demonstrate the company’s ability to maintain a stable and trust-based corporate culture even during periods of transition.

Participation in the Culture Audit is based on certification as a “Great Place to Work.” As part of this process, companies conduct an anonymous, globally validated employee survey as well as a comprehensive analysis of their corporate culture. Only organizations that achieve a level placing them among the top 20 percent in Germany receive certification and qualify for the subsequent Culture Audit, which uses a scientifically validated evaluation methodology.

“Especially during times of change, the trust and commitment of our employees are crucial,” says Claudia Steinke, Director HR Operations at VSB Group. “That we have once again achieved a top ranking under these conditions demonstrates how resilient our corporate culture is and how consistently our teams are shaping change together.”

“This renewed recognition is a strong signal for our entire organization,” adds Dr. Felix Grolman, CEO of VSB Group. “It underscores VSB Group’s attractiveness as an employer and at the same time shows that continuity in dynamic times is a central element of our lived corporate culture.”
