TotalEnergies is reorganizing its power business in Germany and will bring its activities together under “Integrated Power Germany”. The new business unit will more closely integrate its affiliated subsidiaries QUADRA energy Sales & Origination, Kyon Energy and VSB as well as TotalEnergies’ offshore wind activities in Germany.

VSB is developing an 8 MWp ground-mounted photovoltaic system on the premises of thyssenkrupp Rasselstein GmbH. The project will be delivered by VSB Integrated Energy Solutions, the VSB Group subsidiary specialising in energy solutions for commercial and industrial customers. The long-term on-site PPA covers financing, planning, construction and operation.

With the commissioning of the second wind turbine, VSB Germany has completed the expansion of the Vockenrod wind farm as planned. The site now comprises a total of five turbines generating climate-friendly electricity and making a further contribution to the expansion of renewable energy in the German state of Hesse.

Five older wind turbines are being replaced by four modern units, yet electricity generation will increase significantly. At the Les Vents Meuse Sud wind farm in Saint-Aubin-sur-Aire, the dismantling of the existing turbines has now been completed. VSB France is now installing four Nordex N117 turbines with a total capacity of 12 megawatts. Commissioning is scheduled for early 2027.

VSB France, the French subsidiary of VSB Group, which operates across Europe, has inaugurated the Bosjean wind farm in the Puy-de-Dôme department in central France together with representatives of the municipality of Saint-Sulpice. With the new wind farm, VSB is strengthening its presence in the French market and further expanding its wind energy portfolio.
