The project developer VSB Integrated Energy Solutions (VSB IES), part of VSB Group and a TotalEnergies company, is commencing the implementation of a rooftop photovoltaic system on the newly built METRO store in Hamburg. The project is being realised as an on-site PPA with a term of 18 years and comprises an installed capacity of 1.3 megawatt-peak (MWp).

Positive news for the municipalities surrounding the Pölzig wind farm: the operators of Wind Farm Pölzig I and II, VSB Gruppe and aventron AG, will in future offer local authorities a financial participation in the revenues generated from electricity production. An amount of 0.2 euro cents per kilowatt-hour fed into the grid will be allocated to municipal budgets – funds that may be used at the municipalities’ discretion for local projects such as infrastructure development, climate protection…

VSB France, a company of the VSB Group and part of TotalEnergies, has commissioned its first wind farm in the French département of Puy-de-Dôme with Eoliennes de Tortebesse. The project marks an important milestone in the further expansion of onshore wind energy in France and underlines the role of the VSB Group as a reliable player in the European renewable energy market.

Environmental and waste management service provider [k]nord is embarking on zero-emission logistics. Together with VSB Integrated Energy Solutions (VSB IES), the mid-sized company based in Oldenburg has commissioned its first charging infrastructure for electric trucks. With the deployment of an electric Volvo truck, [k]nord is initiating the gradual conversion of its fleet – a step that is already generating economic benefits today and will ultimately lead to a fully integrated energy system.

Wind farm developer VSB has announced the start of construction for the Arnsberg/Oeventrop wind farm in North Rhine-Westphalia. Since early November, site preparation has been underway for three wind turbines to be erected on forestry land. Commissioning of the 18-megawatt (MW) wind farm is scheduled for spring 2027.
