Set in Saxonian Frauenberg, around 25 km from capital Dresden, 6 wind engines constructed between 1998 and 2000 are spinning. On the whole the windpark with an installed capacity of 9.5 megawatts supplies up to 6,750 households with clean energy per year. This way over 16,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions and over 18,000 tons of lignite can be avoided annually.
