Successful information event and visible progress on the construction site
/ 19.12.2025
The Löberitz hybrid park continues to take shape: at the beginning of November, VSB provided information about the project during a public information event at Gut Mößlitz. At the same time, construction preparations for the wind farm, photovoltaic installation and substation are visibly progressing.
Strong Interest in the Löberitz Hybrid Park
At the beginning of November, VSB invited the public to an information event about the Löberitz hybrid park. Around 45 guests accepted our invitation to learn about the upcoming construction measures during a project presentation. Among the participants were the local mayor of Löberitz and a representative of the city of Bitterfeld-Wolfen.
Interested residents from the region took the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information about the planned wind energy and photovoltaic project. At the start of the event, we presented the project and provided an overview of the planning, construction process and schedule.
In a relaxed and open atmosphere, many individual questions could then be discussed at various themed tables – including topics such as nature and species protection, archaeology, immission control, planning and citizen participation. The interest was high, and the exchange was lively and constructive. The Mitteldeutsche Zeitung also accompanied the event and reported on it afterwards: link to the article (behind the paywall).
We would like to sincerely thank all participants for the positive atmosphere, the lively participation and the willingness to actively engage in dialogue.
Preparatory Construction Measures Progressing
At the construction site itself, work is now progressing rapidly: construction of the access roads and crane pads required for the transport and installation of the wind turbines is currently underway. At the same time, work is being carried out at the first two turbine locations to prepare the sites so that the foundations can be built in the next step and the turbines can later be erected.
Temporary Safety Measures Along the Access Route
A temporary height restriction has been installed along the access road. As high-voltage lines run above this area, the restriction ensures that lorries, cranes and special transport vehicles always maintain the required safety distance.
Construction Progress at the Salzfurtkapelle Substation
Clear progress is also being made at the Salzfurtkapelle substation. The excavation pits for the foundations and the operations building have been created and further developed. The building components of the substation have already been delivered.
At the same time, the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the 40/50-MVA transformer was successfully completed at the manufacturing plant. During this test, specialists check whether the central component functions technically without fault and meets all requirements. The transformer will later step up the electricity generated by the wind and photovoltaic installations to 110 kilovolts so that it can be fed into the public grid. Delivery of the transformer is currently planned for early February.

Many interested residents attended the information event at Gut Mößlitz to exchange views with us on the wind farm, photovoltaics, nature and species protection, as well as the further course of construction.

Preparation of the construction site installation area: initial earthworks are underway, materials are being delivered and the areas are being prepared for the upcoming construction phases.

Construction of the access roads and crane pads in the Löberitz wind farm: the areas are being reinforced so that tower segments, rotor blades and cranes can later be transported and installed safely.

Temporary height restriction on the access road: it ensures that all vehicles maintain the required safety distance from the overhead high-voltage lines crossing above.

Preparation of the foundations for the Salzfurtkapelle substation: the excavation pits for the transformer and the operations building have been dug and are being prepared for the next construction steps.
