VSB has begun construction of the Liethe-Lehmden repowering wind farm in the municipality of Rastede, Lower Saxony. Three new wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 18 megawatts (MW) will replace four existing turbines. The new wind farm is expected to generate enough renewable electricity each year to meet the equivalent annual demand of around 11,300 three-person households. Annual electricity generation will therefore increase more than tenfold compared with the existing wind farm.

On the occasion of the Colloque National de France Renouvelables, taking place in Paris on 7 and 8 October (1), VSB France looks back on 25 years of company development. Since its foundation in 2001, the company has built around 60 wind farms and developed approximately 30 photovoltaic plants across France.

On the occasion of its participation in the third edition of the Rencontres de l’Agrivoltaïsme, VSB France, a power producer, is publishing its first Agrivoltaics Co-Activity Charter and reaffirming its ambition to achieve an equal balance of new projects under development across its two core renewable energy technologies.
