We are pleased to announce that TotalEnergies has finalized the acquisition of VSB Group. Thanks to the combination of our two portfolios and our expertise, we are strengthening our position as a major player in renewable energies, with the ambition of reaching 100 TWh of net electricity production by 2030. The pursuit of this strong ambition will be carried out in compliance with the commitments made to our suppliers, partners, and electricity buyers.

VSB France, the French subsidiary of the VSB Group, reports a highly successful year in 2024. With an impressive portfolio of around 2 GW in renewable energy projects, the company is entering 2025 with determination and clear objectives. The focus remains on the development of wind energy, ground-mounted solar PV, agrivoltaics, and energy marketing.

Green light at VSB and TotalEnergies: the French energy company TotalEnergies has signed an agreement for the complete acquisition of the shares of the VSB Group, from majority owner Partners Group as well as VSB’s founder. Headquartered in Germany, VSB is one of Europe’s leading platforms for renewable energy, with a project pipeline of over 18 gigawatts for wind, photovoltaic and battery storage and over 475 megawatts in its own operation (IPP).

The VSB Group proudly announces the commissioning of its photovoltaic park "Soleil de Balsac" in France. This project exemplifies the sustainable repurposing of former industrial sites for renewable energy production. It was planned and implemented by VSB France.
