Ahlsdorf windfarm is set in Brandenburg, nearby the small town of Schönwalde in the Elbe-Elster district. Amidst forests, fields and small villages, two Enercon E-40-turbines generate clean energy. Since their commissioning in 2002, they have been supplying an average of about 700 households, thus avoiding about 1,700 tons of carbon-dioxide emissions every year.
