We start by dismantling seven wind turbines

From March 2022, the land can be used for agriculture again.

Time flies. It is now autumn and at the end of October we began dismantling the seven 100-metre-high wind turbines that have been diligently producing green electricity since 2000/2001. Once again, we checked all the areas where construction machinery and cranes will be working over the next few months to make sure that the protected sand lizard has not taken up residence. In our first construction diary entry in June this year, we reported in detail on the eviction and relocation of the animals (Link).

By the end of November we aim to have completed the dismantling of the turbines, from the rotor blade to the last screw on the tower. We will also use the winter period from December to the end of February 2022 to dismantle the foundations, road and crane parking areas, and to return the former farmland in the area of the old wind turbines to agricultural use.
