Nearby the historic windmill Thurland, seven VSB-built wind turbines have been in service since June 2005. The small town of Jeßnitz is part of the city of Raguhn-Jeßnitz on the lower Mulde northeast of Bitterfeld-Wolfen in Saxony-Anhalt. The windfarm produces green energy for about 8,600 household every year.
