Current information about Läyniönsuo solar farm
The project area of the Läyniönsuo solar farm is located in the municipality of Hankasalmi, partly on the former Läyniönsuo peat production area. It is situated between Niemisjärvi and Hankasalmi station.
Preliminarily plans include a solar power project with a maximum capacity of 77 MWp. The planning area will be refined based on environmental surveys and soil investigations. Currently, the need for an environmental impact assessment for the project is being examined.
