Current information about Pikku Kivineva hybrid farm
The Pikku Kivineva wind-solar hybrid farm is located in Reisjärvi, southwest of Pitkäjärvi, about ten kilometers west of the town center. The preliminary plan area covers approximately 1000 hectares.
The project area is planned to include a wind farm with 8–15 turbines, with a total capacity of approximately 64–120 MW.
In addition to wind power, solar power production is also planned for the area. There are potential areas totaling about 100 hectares, with an estimated nominal capacity of approximately 120 MWp. The solar power production will utilize the wind farm's electricity transmission connections.
The project will be implemented through a joint procedure of the wind power master plan and the environmental impact assessment (EIA).
