Racibórz Wind Farm

A captivating peek behind the scenes of our project “Wind Farm Racibórz” in Poland: watch in awe as the foundation for a Nordex turbine, with a plinth as high as 7 meters and continuous anchor bolts 9.5 meters long - these are currently the highest foundations in Europe, and maybe even in the world, takes shape in less than 3 minutes.

Preparations for installation are well underway. Despite the autumnal weather conditions in October, we made progress and completed work on the crane platforms in November and on the roads and temporary surfaces in December.

A captivating peek behind the scenes of our project “Wind Farm Racibórz” in Poland: Watch in awe as the piling works for foundation of a Nordex turbine, boasting a 16-meter radius, a depth of 9 to 19 meters depending on location, and weighing in at approximately 1650 tons, takes shape in just 3 minutes. This process, in reality, spans over 2-3 working days for each location!

From July to September, we saw impressive progress, from the installation of what is probably the highest anchor cages in the world to the completion of the turbine foundations. In parallel, intensive work continued on the GPO station, from the installation of cables to the delivery and installation of the transformer. A summer full of milestones and technical achievements!

Now it's starting: the construction of the Racibórz wind farm. The wind farm, with an installed capacity of 41.6 MW, will eventually supply 36,000 households with green electricity.

From the start of construction at the beginning of March, through the extensive earthworks and pile driving in May, to the delivery from sunny Spain of the impressive 9.5-metre anchor baskets. An intensive and demanding phase, the results of which bring us closer to a greener world!
