Final preparations for installation

Preparations for installation are well underway. Despite the autumnal weather conditions in October, we made progress and completed work on the crane platforms in November and on the roads and temporary surfaces in December.

OCTOBER
Autumn has arrived, but we do not stop and neither does the work. Foundation backfill and finishing work on crane platforms, roads and temporary arches continues. MV cables are installed continuously.

Work on the substation building and high voltage field continues as well. In parallel, work has begun on adapting public roads for oversized transportation.

NOVEMBER
In November, works on construction of crane platforms, roads and temporary widening were completed. At the substation, further equipment of the high voltage field and equipping of the station building with medium voltage equipment and control system including - the station computer.

Our station is no longer anonymous - we have painted our logo.

The works on the completion of the station area have started.  And at the end of the month it snowed... just in time for the dummy run. :) Meanwhile, work continues on adapting public roads for our transports.
 

DECEMBER 
The month of December passed on the construction site with finishing works on roads, crane platforms and temporary areas.

Out of boredom and for the sake of variety :) We visited local kindergartens and schools together with the company "Mamy Energię" and organized ecological workshops where we talked about recycling, renewable energy and cities of the future. We also visited the port of Świnoujście, Poland where our blades and towers arrived from Turkey, and the Nordex factory in Rostock, Germany where we inspected our nacelles, hubs and drive trains! 

And just before Christmas, a crane arrived at the construction site, marking another important stage in our project.
