Baranów-Rychtal Wind Farm

This year, we have, among other achievements, connected the Polish wind farm Baranów-Rychtal to the grid. At our inauguration ceremony, the sand artist Magdalena Bąk brought the park's history to life in a fascinating manner using sand.

On 7 September 2023, the Baranów-Rychtal Wind Farm was ceremoniously opened. The project is another of the many undertakings carried out by the Polish branch of VSB Group, one of the leaders in the renewable energy sector, and it has opened the way to produce enough energy to cover the needs of a city the size of Opole or Legnica. It is another important step in the implementation of the Polish energy policy for 2040 (PEP2040).

Active leisure enthusiasts and admirers of the countryside came together on the fifth 50-kilometre cycle tour, which led through the VSB wind park, on the first weekend of September. Members of the VSB team also took part and met with local residents. 

We are pleased to announce the successful commissioning and full capacity of the Baranów-Rychtal wind farm. The wind farm, with an installed capacity of 42.6 MW, will eventually supply 40,000 households with green electricity.

Mid-January is behind us. The weather is friendly and the work can go on, the winter is not harsh and we do not have to make significant changes to the schedule – everything is going according to plan!

The end of 2021 was the time of our first construction works.
