There’s a lot going on in the new year

Mid-January is behind us. The weather is friendly and the work can go on, the winter is not harsh and we do not have to make significant changes to the schedule – everything is going according to plan!

Mid-January is behind us.
As we are graced with mild weather, we are able to carry out further works — all excavation to construct EW2, EW3 and EW4 turbines is already underway, and the roadworks near the turbines (access roads and staging areas) are still ongoing.We have also started the construction of access roads in the administrative district of Gmina Baranów. Thanks to the construction of the Baranów Wind Farm, some farm roads in the district will be provided with an aggregate surface, which is a huge benefit for residents.

The next important step is the start of piling works, which are related to the construction of foundations. We have opted for driven piles. In this method, preformed elements of reinforced concrete, called “columns”, with a cross section of 40x40 cm and length of 8.5 m to 12.5 m (depending on the location), are driven with a pile driver.

We are also bringing road materials to the construction site: geocomposites and granite aggregate.
