Project Manager (TCMA)

Position description

Project Manager:

VSB based in Dresden is one of the leading providers of comprehensive renewable energy services. Its primary activity is designing wind farms and photovoltaic parks in Poland and abroad, as well as operational management, both of its own sources and for external companies. Furthermore, VSB supports clients operating in industry and trade in matters related to energy generation and efficiency. Since 1996, VSB has put in operation more than 700 wind farms and photovoltaic parks with a total installed capacity of approx. 1.1 GW and an investment volume of EUR 1.7 billion. VSB also provides services for installed systems with a capacity of approximately 1.4 GW. The Group and its subsidiaries employ more than 350 people in 22 locations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining technical and commercial documentation of the projects
• Execution of the data analyses collected during the operational phase
• Working with contracts, and laws and enforcing these obligations from service providers
• Supervision the implementation of signed contracts and enforcing their provisions
• Conducting insurance processes
• Obtaining offers from the market and enforcing contracted services from suppliers
• Coordination of ongoing works in the projects
• Maintaining medium and high-voltage power equipment and other technical infrastructure included in a specific project
• Responding to emergencies and failures
• Establishing good relations with VSB clients
• Establishing cooperation with subcontractors
• Operating the monitoring systems (SCADA), carrying out data analysis and reporting
• Reporting on the status of projects
• Cooperating with other company departments (financial and construction)
• Providing technical support for VSB clients
• Providing technical support as part of insurance processes
• Supervising the implementation of O&M contracts
• Standardising tasks
• Budgeting operation-related tasks and supervising their performance
• Cooperation with the financial department in the implementation of contracts and fulfilment of obligations
• Preparing technical and commercial reports (together with other company departments) for internal and external purposes
• Revising commercial reports with regard to electricity production and trading
• Working with IWR documentation, Operating Instructions, IRiESD (Distribution Grid Code), IRiESP (Transmission Grid Code) and operation and maintenance manuals
• Working on the operated facilities in the field

Requirements:

• Experience in the renewable energy industry in the field of servicing wind or photovoltaic power plants
• Experience in working with the SCADA and control and supervision systems (Polish: SSiN – System Sterowania i Nadzoru)
• Knowledge of energy law and related acts
• Experience in working with as-built documentation (building approval documentation, electrical wiring diagrams, etc.)
• Teamwork skills
• Effective time and task management
• Multitasking and the ability to work under time pressure
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Cooperation with the client and maintaining good relations
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Driving license, category B

Desirable:

• Knowledge related to the operation of RES devices
• Experience in working on technical and legal audits – due diligence
