Since its commissioning in 2006, Salzfurtkapelle windfarm near Jeßnitz steadily provides green energy. The city of Jeßnitz is set on the lower Mulde, northeast of the Bitterfelt-Wolfen in Saxony-Anhalt.
The windfarm comprises Enercon E-70 and E-82 tubines with a combined installed capacity of 6.3 MW. It produces green energy for about 3,900 households every year.
