Queis windfarm is set east of the city of Halle (Saale). With seven wind turbines, it generates an amount of energy that is sufficient for supplying an average of 6,600 households. This is on par with the electricity provided by 18,000 tons of lignite, which goes along with the emission of about 15,800 tons of carbon dioxide can be mitigated.
