Economic and ecological upgrading of the former landfill site.

At first, a site with a dual identity.

first of all, a former Loire meadow extending between Saint-Herblain and Indre  town councils, then the landfill site for the Nantes conurbation between 1961 and 1992. This 70-hectare site treated more than 6 million m3 of household and industrial waste.

In order to restore an ecological and natural vocation to the site's, the landscaping has rethought earth and its biodiversity. The site has thus seen the re-establishment of flora and fauna that had previously disappeared.
