In November 2001, Reinholdshainer Höhe windfarm was put into operation near Dippoldiswalde in the Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge area. The windfarm comprises Vestas V44 and Enercon E-40 turbines with a combined installed capacity of 3 MW. Jointly, they produce sustainable energy for about 1,900 households.
