Bringing hope for our future – WSB neue Energien ‘s sponsoring for a school in Neamt County, Romania

Once a year, EWEA – Europe’s leading industrial trade show for wind energy, decision maker and professional audience – becomes a major industry gathering. At this year’s location in Vienna, more than 10 000 visitors are expected.

The future is important, as our actions in the present influence our track through life, in the future. And the future is best represented through children.

WSB Neue Energien contributed to the improvement of the future in school of a group of children from the Communa of Margineni, Neamt County, by sponsoring the works for reconstructing the exterior stairs, sidewalks and water drain system for the Margineni school, following the 2012 Christmas charity action organized by WSB Energie Verde at the same school.

"The pupils and staff of the Nicolae Buleu school would like to thank the WSB group for helping with the repairs at the school from Margineni. Ensuring the development of the educational process in optimal conditions represents one of the priorities of the Margineni community. We are looking forward to a lasting collaboration with WSB and we intend to conduct further school projects with them, during the construction period of Margineni Wind Farm and after the works are finished. We hope to be able to give our pupil an insight in the works related with such a project and intend to improve their awareness for the needs of environmental protection." The school hosts approximately 88 children, with ages between 3 and 11, from which 52 are scholars and 36 are in kindergarten.

The works were finished at the end of April 2013 and were supervised by WSB Energie Verde.
