Between 2004 and 2007 windpark Dessau in Saxony-Anhalt was constructed in two phases. Since their completion, five turbines hold an installed capacity of 9.5 megawatts. This way around 19,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year can be avoided and over 7,900 households can be supplied by renewable energies.
