Starting a success story – the first VSB-windfarm

When wind energy was still in its infancy, VSB brought Augustusberg windfarm to the grid – a groundbreaking achievement! Already since 1997, three Vestas V44 turbines have been in service near the Saxon town of Augustusberg. With the green energy generated, an average of about 900 households can be supplied every year – which avoids the burning of about 2,500 tons of lignite.
