VSB Italy has obtained the single authorisation (AU) required to build its AgriPV project in the municipality of Roseto degli Abruzzi, in the Contrada San Giovanni area of the Abruzzo region. The project will cover a fenced area of approximately 11.6 hectares and will have a total capacity of 7.24 MW.

As part of this year’s renewable energy auction organized by the Polish Energy Regulatory Office (URE), VSB has secured a contract for difference (CfD) for a 303 megawatt-peak (MWp) solar park: the largest solar project in the history of the VSB Group to date. The fully permitted project is located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. Construction is expected to begin in October 2025.

Following successful approval and award by the Bundesnetzagentur (Federal network agency), construction work on the northern expansion of the Vockenrod wind farm is currently in full swing. Project developer VSB is installing two additional Nordex N149-5.X wind turbines at the site, further strengthening its presence in the central Hessian district of Vogelsberg.

In the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld, construction preparations will begin in August 2025 for a hybrid renewable energy project comprising a 21.6 MW wind farm and a 19 MWp ground-mounted photovoltaic installation along the A9 motorway. Located within the municipalities of Zörbig and Bitterfeld-Wolfen, Löberitz Wind & PV marks VSB Group’s first hybrid project in Germany. The PV component is being developed in partnership with the municipal utility Stadtwerke Bitterfeld-Wolfen.

With the commissioning of the Soleil de Balsac photovoltaic plant, the VSB Group has successfully completed another solar energy project. The 9.2 MWp facility was developed by its French subsidiary VSB France and built on a former clay and gravel extraction site in the municipality of Druelle Balsac, located in the Aveyron department.

Successful start of operations: Another wind farm from VSB Poland is now online. In the Silesian municipality of Pietrowice Wielkie, the Racibórz wind farm has recently been reliably producing green energy with a total capacity of 41.6 megawatts (MW).
