WSB now a member of LEE NRW

WSB Projekt GmbH joined Landesverband Erneuerbare Energien NRW on 1 January 2016.
The energy transition is a generational project that needs the cooperation of many stakeholders nationwide, including associations and companies in North Rhine-Westphalia. Thanks to its acceptance as a member <link http: www.lee-nrw.de _blank an external>Landesverband Erneuerbare Energien NRW (LEE NRW, State Renewables Assocation of North Rhine-Westphalia) WSB Projekt GmbH now forms part of this powerful industry network. “We look forward to working with LEE and are delighted to help the association to advance renewable energies in the industrial hub of NRW,” comments Markus Brogsitter, Managing Director of WSB Projekt GmbH.
Since 1996, WSB has been developing wind farms and photovoltaic plants, giving citizens, companies, cities and municipalities and power supply companies an opportunity to participate. WSB Projekt GmbH opened a regional office in Düsseldorf in 2015 to enhance its presence in North Rhine-Westphalia. “For us, it is particularly important to ensure broad acceptance of renewable energies and be actively involved in structural change by adding value regionally,” adds David Zuk, Head of the Acquisition Team, WSB Projekt GmbH.
North Rhine-Westphalia has great potential for renewable energy generation and is already an important business hub for the supply industry. The <link https: www.klimaschutz.nrw.de klimaschutz-in-nrw klimaschutzplan _blank an external>NRW Climate Protection Plan, passed by the State Parliament in December 2015, a central instrument of the new climate protection policy. It can be construed as a road map to achieve the Federal State’s ambitious goals. LEE NRW called on politicians to start implementing these goals in the short term.
